Privacy policy
The short version
Sanabil has no account and no server. It does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. Everything you record stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores, on your phone only
- Your daily ticks (prayers, Qur’an, charity, Tahajjud), the companion’s name and look, your first name if you gave one, seeds, purchases made with seeds, and the challenge you are on.
- Your chosen city and calculation method, used to compute prayer times on the device.
- Rest mode and its reason. This may include the fact that you are menstruating. This is health data and it never leaves the device: it is not synced, not backed up by us, and not included in any analytics, because there are none.
- Your answers from the introduction (what you are keeping up, what you want to strengthen, an age range if you chose to give one). They only shape what the app highlights.
This data is kept in the app’s private storage. Deleting the app deletes it. It may be included in your own iCloud or iTunes device backup, which is controlled by you and by Apple, not by us.
Location
If you tap “Use my location”, the app asks iOS for one position, picks the nearest city from a list bundled inside the app, and keeps only the city. The coordinates are not stored and nothing is sent anywhere. You can also just type a city.
Notifications
Prayer reminders are local notifications scheduled on the phone. No push service and no remote server is involved.
Purchases
Premium is bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive no card details and no personal information about you; the app only learns whether Premium is active.
Analytics, tracking, third parties
None. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking identifiers and no third-party SDKs that phone home. The only network traffic is the App Store purchase flow, handled by iOS itself.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, children included. The age range asked in the introduction stays on the device and is never transmitted.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to.
